The Pratt Agencies Annual Weaner Show & Sale is a key event on the local livestock calendar, bringing together producers, buyers, and industry professionals for a full day of quality cattle and competition.
This annual sale showcases a strong line-up of well-bred weaner cattle, giving vendors the opportunity to present their stock in a competitive show environment before heading into the sale ring. Classes are judged prior to the sale, with ribbons awarded for standout pens across multiple categories.
Who We Are
With a proud heritage dating back to 1948, the Pratt family has been a trusted name in the Burnett region’s livestock industry for generations. We conduct fortnightly liveweight cattle and calf sales every Tuesday at the SBLX Saleyards in Murgon, along with our highly regarded annual Weaner Sales in May and June, featuring over 5,000 quality Burnett weaners.
Established in 1986, Pratt Agencies offers expert services across Livestock, Real Estate, Property Management, and Auctions, alongside a carefully curated range of country apparel. Centrally located in Murgon’s CBD, we are committed to delivering professional, reliable, and client-focused service backed by decades of industry experience.
More than livestock
Alongside our real estate services, Pratt Agencies offers a well-established Property Management division, managing a diverse range of rental properties across Murgon, Wondai, Goomeri, and surrounding areas. All property management enquiries are handled by Stacey, who leads the division with professionalism and care. Our team stays current with RTA and REIQ requirements to ensure efficient, compliant management of our rent roll.
